Final painting of the main frames has been completed this week, apart from the front section between the bufferbeam and cylinders. This will be finished once repair work to the bufferbeam has been carried out.

The inside of the frames looks particularly striking in its fresh coat of red paint, achieved after months of hard work by two of our dedicated volunteers.

Now that this work has been completed, re-assembly can start.
