The two front running plate sections have been trial fitted on both sides, with their alignment adjusted and improved.
The sections above the cylinders will have to be removed at some point to allow fitting of the exhaust pipes and cylinder cladding. These needed to be fitted to ensure that the sections carrying the lubricators are correctly positioned.
The view above shows the running plates from above, the two rearmost sections have been tightened down finally. Fitting of these two sections will allow us to fit the lubricators and make a start on re-fitting lubrication pipework.
Two further sections, one of which can be seen on the floor, will be fitted shortly.
