The new trunnion bearings for the tender brake cylinders have had bolt holes and oil ways drilled, which completes these items. 

Locomotive

The modifications to the replacement AWS brake valve are underway, with the new inserts silver soldered into the valve cap, completing this item.

A new shut off spindle is almost finished being machined for the brake valve, which leaves just the spindle hand wheel to machine. The drain cock actuating valve has been overhauled and re-assembled.

The task of removing worn paint from the boiler cladding sections by our hardy volunteers, continues as weather allows.
